Sometimes a Dr. Pepper just satisfies thirst like nothing else can. Speaking of “can”…check out the new DP can. Isn’t football season fun?

  3. Julie Says:

Football and Dr. Pepper – my favorite combo!! Oh yeah and Dr. Pepper in poker!

  4. Tricia W. Says:

    dr pepper…hellz yeah

    …that is all

  5. Amanda Says:

Dr. Pepper is a ridiculous thirst quencher, holllllla.

And as much as I love football season.. I’m kind of still mourning the game that was Cleveland vs. Giants. Usually, this is my cue to rub it in how the Pats got creamed and what not……. but I can’t. The Giants game kind of broke my my-team’s-better-than-yours spirit.

Random much? haha its a pretty cool can…I’m gonna say one thing though…….grrrr at american football it’s not football haha what David beckham plays is football….cause the ball is in constant contact with oh…his foot! I mean where does the name soccer for football even come from? and calling your version of rugby football…..*sigh*

    *rant over* hehe

    But yeah….cool can lol

  7. SarahLee23 Says:

Aww, Jill…your posts always bring such a smile to my face with your randomness! πŸ™‚ I had a Coke earlier today and was amused by the bats on the top of the can for Halloween. I like the Christmas can’s too…it’s the little festive things that count…;)

    Hugs,
    Sarah

A friend and I discussed that DP football can just the other day. Yes…I soooo love football season. Have I mentioned lately…ROLL TIDE BABY!!! hehehehehe

As for that game that Beckham plays…it used to be referred to as “association football” to distinguish it from other football games such as rugby. The term “soccer” was originated in England in the 1880s as a slang abbreviation of the word “association”, credited to former England captain Charles Wreford-Brown. Hey…Jen asked a question and I’m just curious enough to find the answer…:) And that people…is your history lesson for the day. Gotta love that Wiki…lol πŸ˜‰

  9. Anakellya Says:

I don’t drink soft drinks so at least I get informed on here of what they look like. Thanks for the random blog and do you really taste all 23 flavors? Just checking because I will never know. 7 years clean of soft drinks and proud of it!!!!

Make sure you go out and have a great day today! πŸ™‚

  13. M Says:

Randomness is funny…and that can looks cool! I don’t drink DP, but I kinda want to get one just for the can. How sad is that? Ha. See, I used to be a soft drink (Coke) junkie, but I’ve been “sober” for over a year. Well, except for the occasional Red Bull, which is accompanied by my friend Goose. πŸ˜‰

Hope y’all have a fun fall day. I’m trying to get into the spirit. Halloween in two weeks!!!

PS. Have y’all claimed a college football team yet? ‘Cause we (UGA) play Vandy Saturday…and it’s Homecoming in Athens! Whee! “Goooooo Dawgs!”

  14. rhonda Says:

I don’t know if you are aware of this but in the south we refer to everything as Coke – even Dr. Pepper. When my girls are thirsty, I’ll ask them what they would like to drink. They will respond “Coke”. I will then respond, “What kind?” Weird, huh. I would have to say my favorite drink is Sweet Tea. It’s the best. As far as football goes, if you haven’t chosen a football team yet-you’ve got to choose one from the SEC. The SEC is the best conference overall in my opinion. Although, the Big 12 is pretty good.

  15. Monica Says:

Great. Now i want dr. pepper after i’ve just started this ‘no soda diet’
    Booooo! ):

  16. Amanda Says:

That can is rad! I love football, but Dr Pepper… not so much!

And yay for football season I live for Saturdays and Sundays, I don’t even mind staying up till 4am to watch the late one because of the time difference :L
GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!! BOOO REDSKINS AND CARDINALS!!!!!! πŸ˜›

  20. Jaclyn Says:

I love these blogs, haha πŸ™‚ I’m not a fan of Dr. Pepper though (or pop/soda/whatever you call it in general..I think it’s a carbonation thing πŸ˜› ) But I love the can πŸ˜€

  21. Rachel Says:

    Love football season..
Dr. Pepper is hands down the best drink ever… (well one of)

  22. Monica Says:

So this is totally unrelated to the blog…buuuut…
Jill! Did you SEE the sox game? We made Tampa Bay fans cry!!!!!
One more game and it’s the series, baby!!!

  23. Fouts Says:

    you guys are slacking…

I thought you would be on after the game last night and the night prior with the Soxs amazing comeback!!!

    BO SOX IN 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  24. rhonda Says:

Sorry about the Red Sox. My suggestion is to focus on the best sport ever….football. HA Go get a six pack of Dr. Pepper and drink your baseball woes away. Then turn the television to ESPN and watch some college football. Or, if you’re lucky, Brett Favre will be playing on one of the channels. That always makes for good viewing. He makes football sexy.

  25. Clara Says:

Okey so I just tasted Dr Pepper for the first time yesterday, and all I can say is, How can you drink that stuff? πŸ˜›
That really wasn’t the best drink I’ve tasted πŸ™‚
But anyways, Love yall hope you have a great day πŸ˜€
