I love that she names her albums numbers, like the first was 19 and now this one is 21. I love a title thats simple with meaning. And Adele is just cool. Unique is the best way for things.

OH, wow that is completely awesome. Thank you SO MUCH for posting this I had no idea, actually, how talented she is. But that is simply music perfection. Great video as well. Damn.

    It’s awesome!
You should go and YouTube Adele – Someone Like You (from 21) live on Later…with Jools Holland. It’s so stunning, it…will….knock your socks off! 🙂 x

The raw drum beat woven into the acoustic guitar is great (although it does sound a little like Amy Winehouse?) Reminds me also a bit of the brilliance or Allison Crowe singing Leonard Cohen

  5. Marnie Says:

Good call on Allison Crowe. She’s wild, untamed, a singer-songwriter that can only grow outside the major record labels.

Oops, I’m behind on this blog.

    Anyway, go Team Talent! 😉

I just want to thank you, again and again and again, for posting this video. Seriously blown over by this woman’s bluesy talent. Perfection.

Always a huge bummer to see a singer smoking, though. Well, anyone smoking. Sad to see suicidal folk. It’s a slow ugly suicide too. And murder of a larynx. bummer.

Oh, man. So discouraging to see the smoking at the beginning. Makes her look like an idiotic MO-ron with rotting yellow teeth, stinky breath, and a stench you can smell from a mile away even when she doesn’t have a cigarette — like all smokers. And I am not even addressing what that does to somebody’s singing voice or lung stamina, but so be it.

Too bad Adele felt the pressure and the need to become yet another talented tobacco sell-out. This is just a very creative four minute cigarette commercial to me — and targeting a highly sought after young female teenage demographic, too. Nothing more. Some music producer somewhere just made a boat load of money from big tobacco off of this, and the thought of that makes it too difficult for me to enjoy the art. Sad all around. Onward…

she performed this on Ellen yesterday and I was so impressed! I can’t wait for the new album 🙂
