So, we have mostly good news and a wee little tad-bit of bad news…but the good news will make up for it *hopefully*…
Here is how a good news/bad news sandwich works (don’t blame us if we got this concept from a recent episode of Desperate Housewives…we never watch that trash ;)) We tell you some good news, a little bad news, and then some more good news.
If we were to draw a diagram of a good news/bad news sandwich…this is what it would look like:
Hahahaha…you get the idea? Phew. Good.
So, here goes.
Good news:
Everyday this week, we will be posting a video blog of us singing a song. It might be old, might be new, might be a cover…tune in to see. That’s right…your thinking is correct…everyday j&k are going to post a video blog of themselves singing a song. Woohoo!
Wee bit of bad news:
We had to cancel our Stageit show on the 20th π¦ All money will be refunded. We will be doing another Stageit show soon.*
Good news: We are still playing this show in NYC on May 26th. *also, did you notice how in the “bad news” section we said we will reschedule the Stageit show…that’s actually not bad news…so really…it could almost be a good news/good news sandwich. Bam. Phew.

Oh, I’m just kidding. I’m sure y’all have some really awesome reason for not spending a Friday night with us, the fabulous people who read this blog.
In the meantime, look forward to the rescheduled show. Or, *ahem* you know, live and in person dates south of the Mason-Dixon line. Eek, how Southern did that come out? Ha. But yes, I’m the “Atlanta Nag.” Tho, I will settle for Nashville! Not that Nash is settling, ’cause I think it’s pretty rad.

I think these 5 songs make up for the Stage It show….and then some! I’m totally in love with this REMIXXXXX (pretend I said that like how it would be in a rap song….if that even makes any sense).
Anywho, can’t wait to hear the other songs this week! and definitely continue with the hats. (some suggestions: cowboy hats, sombreros, crazy hats (whatever that might be), animals hats, birthday hats, visors, make your own hats)

This “5 Days of Music” deal is really sweet! You’re definitely making good on that goal of quality songs and connecting with your fans! π
As for the StageIt show cancellation, I’m sure there’s a good reason for that, and with it being refundable and to be rescheduled, it’s really not so bad at all.
A lot of us won’t be able to attend the concert y’all are doing with Ashley, but still, that’s cool news! I hope it’s a big turn out, and you gain even more followers! Have fun.

Oops… I guess in all the sandwich excitement, I forgot to comment on the vlog! Of course, I’m familiar with Reason To Stay from the East Coast Bound album. Good stuff, and I like this version too. I’m interested to see what all will end up being on your set list for this T-F. The different hats should be fun too. π

π I think the good news outweighs the bad so it’s ok. The bad news wasn’t that bad for me only because I really couldn’t make the stageit show due to work.

The good/bad sandwich reminds me of how you’re always supposed to tell someone something they did well or correct before you throw the hammer down and tell them they royally messed up. You know, like say, “I love that color on you. However, your sweater is on backwards.” You get the point. And yay for 5 days of songs and yay for rescheduling your StageIt show!
