OH SNAP…New Song on November 17th :)

November 30, 2011

You’re alone now
So am I
Are you happy
Leading our separate lives
You said we’d be happier
You lied
Cause I’ve never felt more like
I could cry

All the time
All the time
All the time

You were perfect
Next to me
We were lovers
Now we’re casualties
Said I was over you
I lied
Cause I still catch you running Through my mind

All the time
All the time
All the time

I don’t wanna see you
I don’t wanna feel you
I don’t wanna need you
I don’t wanna love you

All the time
All the time
All the time

In a London Fog.

November 14, 2011

That title is deceiving because there are pics from our recent travels to Germany & London…but ‘in a london fog” just had such a nice ring to it. I guess we could’ve called it “in a German & London fog”…yeah…nope…it’s just not the same. Haha. You guys get the point. Here are some pics from the last couple weeks–we left NYC and flew to Germany for about a week…then scooted over to London for a few days…

Best last purchase before leaving the US. Honey Nut Cheerios at 3am when you are wide awake in Germany = WINNING.

X-Factor Germany sign. Please note the sequins on Kate’s dress…

That nice little scratch is from those darn sequins. Fashion is dangerous, people.

This was the heating/cooling unit in my (Kate’s) room. I kept pushing buttons, not knowing if I was making it hotter or cooler…I mean what are those little signs on the right?

OH. Lovely. Just before checking out I find this in the desk drawer. Perfect. Could’ve used that way back.

Disco ball.

A view from a hotel room somewhere in Germany.

12 jam options. I’m just upset they didn’t have the one I wanted. HAHAAAAAA.

Again with the weird buttons…what the????

Where’s Jill?

Maybe just don’t ask about this one.

Ahhh…this explains the last one. BK crowns. Check.

Song of choice for this trip.

Hahaha….the sign says: “Please pardon our appearance.” Haha.

Jill making some important calls.

High tea or stuff your face with scones cause they are so freakin’ delicious and oh yeah drink some tea too time.

Big red blurry bus.

Regent Street Lighting in matching coats.

Jill snapped this pic…maybe one of the weirdest pics evaaaaa.

How pretty is that?

Mid-day margaritas with friends.

Found an awesome crepe place…Miles was realllllllllllly happy about it.

That’s right.

Car snap shot.

The souvenir shop didn’t know we were coming.

Surprise show in London…with our souvenirs. Fab.

Glasses & funny faces for days.

11:11 on 11/11/11. We were making wishes.

We are such rebels.

Boarding the last flight HOME.

Okay. Kate here. I have been on a little bit of a rampage. An obsession if you will. With the band…you saw the title…Coldplay. When we were in South Africa earlier this year I was able to catch their show in Johannesburg. HOLY SMOKES WAS IT GOOD!

Sixty-two thousand people were there. It was insane.

During the show these giant balloons fell from heaven up above. They were huge and bright colors…why do adults immediately become like children when we see these? I’m not sure but they were rad.

Anyway…so since seeing their show I’ve been absolutely obsessed with their music. I’ve always loved their sound and known a majority of their albums but I’ve recently discovered older material like the song “Proof”… or “See You Soon”… ahhh…they have SO much awesome material. And how did this kid not know about the Lost+ version with Jay-Z on it?? We all know about my love for Jay-Z. How did I not know this? What rock was I living under?

Another fun little fact is that Coldplay shot a portion of the video to “Paradise” at that show I was at. Neat, right? Right.

Here’s another fun fact: I was WIDE awake in London on their release day & happened to catch the iTunes countdown thing…

Yeah. That happened. Jet-lag or excitement…no one knows…

I hope Coldplay keeps making music for a really, really, really, really long time.

How ’bout That Apple.

November 5, 2011

New York is a crazy awesome place. We spent all week there last week doing promo on Kelly’s new album Stronger. It was a whirlwind, but we had such a great time.

Here are some highlights from the BIG Apple:

*A snowstorm in October?! Yes, it happened. Trees were falling. People were slipping. We were shopping. For winter clothes.

*Getting our ears re-molded for new in-ear monitors. Pink goop in your ears for 10 minutes. Silence.

*Our first ever visit to the Coffee Bean in NYC! History being made.

*A toast to #STRONGER with the girls!

*Landing and driving directly to Best Buy to purchase our own copies of KC’s new album!

*VH1 Unplugged. Are you kidding? This show was monumental in our formative years. Unreal to be singing/playing on it. Wow.

*The Today Show, The View, Jimmy Fallon.
