In a London Fog.

That title is deceiving because there are pics from our recent travels to Germany & London…but ‘in a london fog” just had such a nice ring to it. I guess we could’ve called it “in a German & London fog”…yeah…nope…it’s just not the same. Haha. You guys get the point. Here are some pics from the last couple weeks–we left NYC and flew to Germany for about a week…then scooted over to London for a few days…

Best last purchase before leaving the US. Honey Nut Cheerios at 3am when you are wide awake in Germany = WINNING.

X-Factor Germany sign. Please note the sequins on Kate’s dress…

That nice little scratch is from those darn sequins. Fashion is dangerous, people.

This was the heating/cooling unit in my (Kate’s) room. I kept pushing buttons, not knowing if I was making it hotter or cooler…I mean what are those little signs on the right?

OH. Lovely. Just before checking out I find this in the desk drawer. Perfect. Could’ve used that way back.

Disco ball.

A view from a hotel room somewhere in Germany.

12 jam options. I’m just upset they didn’t have the one I wanted. HAHAAAAAA.

Again with the weird buttons…what the????

Where’s Jill?

Maybe just don’t ask about this one.

Ahhh…this explains the last one. BK crowns. Check.

Song of choice for this trip.

Hahaha….the sign says: “Please pardon our appearance.” Haha.

Jill making some important calls.

High tea or stuff your face with scones cause they are so freakin’ delicious and oh yeah drink some tea too time.

Big red blurry bus.

Regent Street Lighting in matching coats.

Jill snapped this pic…maybe one of the weirdest pics evaaaaa.

How pretty is that?

Mid-day margaritas with friends.

Found an awesome crepe place…Miles was realllllllllllly happy about it.

That’s right.

Car snap shot.

The souvenir shop didn’t know we were coming.

Surprise show in London…with our souvenirs. Fab.

Glasses & funny faces for days.

11:11 on 11/11/11. We were making wishes.

We are such rebels.

Boarding the last flight HOME.

    Ha! So many fun shots!

Sequin scratch- ah, the price of beauty, right?!

Weird buttons/controls. I get that it’s from a foreign country, but even some of the symbols don’t make sense to me!

That picture of Kate with the straws in her mouth reminds me of the Friends episode where Rachel did the same with Twizzlers(?)

I got a kick out of the “Do not sit on conveyor” pic. The expressions on your faces are great!

Nice pics! I’m glad you enjoyed your scones, they are delicious!

I have to point out though that in the picture with the gang in the Union Jack sunglasses, every single one of you, apart from Jill, is swearing at the camera! In the UK, the V sign with your palm facing outwards means ‘victory’ or ‘peace’ (think Churchill) and palm inwards means you are swearing.

The story goes that it dates back to the Hundred Years War between England and France. Our longbowmen caused such devastation in the French ranks that when one was captured, their index and middle fingers were cut off so they could no longer draw a bow. Therefore, the rest of the archers would hold their two fingers aloft to show the French that they still had their fingers and would shortly be using them to good effect.

I’m not entirely sure that story is true, but it’s a good story nonetheless!

Anyway, well done Jill for getting it right! 😉

So ummmm not so sure if the V’s were intentional I mean you guys know that since you were in the UK you were telling everyone to F**k off right? *Chuckles*

*side note, read up and realised someone else mentioned this too ah well and the story they gave you is true lol*

Love the matching coats and the crazy union jack sunglasses.

As for high tee I said this on twitter but you haven’t done real high tea until you have been to Betty’s tea room! so good and the only place in my opinion for real high tea.

P.S. Thanks for an awesome StageIt show last night; the technical difficulties only made it more memorable!
